But no one else was around, save for the prowling Spot.
So Maddie took the gift up to her room, she'd find the others tomorrow.
Santa had left her present in her room. Tomorrow was too long a wait for opening it.

A bicycle by Journey Girls, she had so wanted one for such a long time, but it had seemed a waste as her knees and ankles had never been suitable, but now....
Yay, thankyou Santa. I've been so lucky this year.
And she climbed into bed with a grin ear to ear.
