They were in need of an iron after arriving stuffed into a plastic bag, they did not smell or seem dirty (there are a couple of little stains) I suspect they might have been recently washed dried and then stuffed into the bag.
The Velcro on some of the pieces looked like they'd been used as a lint brush but that was easily taken care of ( I can only send condolenses to the doll that wore them as she lost a fair bit of hair),
the Feast Day outfit's Velcro hook side was unsalvageable and would need replacing, on both the skirt and camisa
and the fringe on the shawl needed some trimming.
These three pieces weretagged Pleasant Company so are the oldest out of the bundle.
The shawl after the trimming and untangling. The fringe has a few bare spots and nearly every strand needed a trim, but I like the result all the same.
AG playthings describes the item as pale pink calico. Either the lighting or my eye sight, mine look cream (Emily) to pale yellow (Josefina).
The jacket (spencer) was in good shape and only missing the top button. Compared to the newer version it appears to be larger though.
Josefinas 2015 purchase at top, the bundle purchase below.
The older version appears to have more rounded sleeves, and whether it's age or fabric, I also think it was softer
Both are fully lined, have Velcro cuffs, but with a button for adornment, buttons with holes down the front and a press stud at the hem to keep it nice.
I'm not sure who will end up with this outfit from the bundle, Emily was just nearby at the time. Mariana would be appropriate, but I'm not sure she's wanting to wear clothes from that time anymore ( she's in jeans and a Tshirt at the moment).
So yay, will show more pics of what else was in the bundle soon.
