once upon a time, actually it was February 2013 in another blog, and in a dollroom that hasn't changed its furniture fabric a little girl came for a very short visit, ie she left in May 2013 reason being that she did not fit in with the dominant doll brand of the day. Or, she was in need of temporary housing while waiting for her real family.
If only we'd known what was to occur in the big Barbie walkout boom of July 2014 she could have stayed, but it happened the wrong way round

Current day:
I'm back! A little girl a little older in need of a new home, and our home now deemed worthy of long term care.
I'd like you to meet Danielle Nicole Barker Westbury.
She is related to the 2005 Girl of the Year Marisol Luna. Dani came (second time round) minus hat and scarf in near mint condition. She was wearing the American Girl of Today care label even. The hat and scarf are home made by our local crocheter.
