93. A big day out, lookouts, parks and beaches

There are a lot of warning signs around, proceed with caution.

World war ruins. Newcastle came under attack by the Japanese during world war 2. I am not sure if there was major damage. Most of our ruins are in poor state due to time and weather.

Commemorating World war 1 and the Steel industry.

Very windy up here. Very high and the aerial walk shakes when someone passes you by.

Hhhhh, let's do it.

A long way down

We made it

Now to go back

Phew.

The Bogey Hole - a swimming pool carved out of the rock by convicts.  The only glimpse we could get as the road and pool are too dangerous.

The council are exempt from the watering laws it would seem (no watering between 10 and 4)

Yippee.....
