160. A day out, Morpeth.

Antoinette and Mariana decided to go on a day out to...

Mariana's big day out some months ago now was to the mouth of the Hunter River, where it joined the ocean, this is inland, and winds through a sleepy little town called Morpeth, though it is becoming fashionable, and the urban sprawl is spreading . This view though is likely not to get built out as it is flood prone.

Ah, that's where we are, Fig Tree Lookout (because they might fall on you)

Closebourne, it was undergoing restoration work, so we could not get closer

but we were still able to walk the avenue that appeared to lead to a door

An old church (by Australian standards, the current way of keeping track on things had only been happening since 1788)

I wonder if its haunted?  Should we go inside?

 Someone is watching

The avenue from the door of the church.
We had planned to follow the route shown on the town map, but we got distracted at the town centre

 a scenic cow

We did have a nice day out.
