Shipping was just that literally shipping, surface mail, but this week we were pleasantly surprised by the docking and arrival of

157. Kmart has changed back the price of the OG kitchen.

noticed the other day that Kmart has put back the price of the OG kitchen to $89 again. Well done. Now hold it there while I try to save up my flybuys again.

155. and we're back blogging by PC!

maybe, I have almost gotten used to the confinements and auto corrects of a mobile, ah and the double space for a fullstop.    so will blogging be better now? hehehe doubt it but at least more than one finger will be getting a work out. 

154. Barbie just got a bit bigger.

Toysrus Australia. 

They appear to have jointed wrists and elbows. The skirt was too long to tell what the legs were doing. 

The biggest surprise probably was that they'd actually stocked us with the darker skin tone doll as well as fair/blonde. 

153. Traveling with your Journey Girls.

The travel bags have had a colour change. 

And now you can eat with your dolls. When time permits I'll have to check this out a little more. 

152. Getting ready for school.

This little girl arrived a couple of weeks ago and has been enjoying the weekends of sunshine (when there is sunshine) with me on the rug outside. 

She keeps a little notebook

And takes down observations

Some day she hopes to report for the press, but was excited to hear that the local school was thinking of starting its  own paper, an opening if ever there was one. School has been on winter break the last two weeks and we wanted to start the term fresh from the beginning. 

Stains!

We had noticed some discoloration on her knit top and the skirt. What to do?

We'd better put something else on. Too cold to be doing the washing whilst only in our under things. 

Because it's cold. 

The washing machine was already on so maybe we could add to... Hmm a lot of darks in there

We thought we'd better check the labels. 

Hand washing in a container with some mild shampoo

Rinse in clean water. 

And hang them out to dry. 

And wait. 

We think we were successful.
